We received the first phone call from the Jerusalem Championship almost a year before the contest. We were asked to help create an investment pitch slideshow, explaining to the sponsors the significance of this event to the local skating scene, in Israel and in Jerusalem in particular. We based our main arguments around skateboarding recently turning into an Olympic sport. Using a broad data review, we were able to point out the significance of the event, and the budget was raised successfully.
We collaborated with Brothers Of Light, an artistic duo, to create the contest’s main image, and our studio based a visual language using the brother’s key image. we set up a registration site, wrote and designed posts and stories for digital media, and branded the skatepark on the day of the contest. The flash campaign was a huge success – over 1,200,000 accounts were reached on social media and turning The Jerusalem Skateboarding Championship into a tradition, an unseparated part of Israel’s capital’s sport events.
